Moving network operators from managing many bilateral relationships to a single relationship with the Link2One multilateral roaming hub is the cornerstone of our value proposition. But we do a lot more. To help you build your business and increase efficiency, we’ve developed services that simplify roaming management and processes.
Roaming Agreement
To join Link2One, you sign the hub roaming agreement and exchange AA/IR data. By signing the AA.73 you achieve connectivity with all operators connected to the hub. You can also maintain bilateral relationships outside the hub.
Signalling
All you need is one SCCP connection through the hub. Bilateral SCCP connections with each VPMN are no longer necessary. Plus, you don’t need to change your SCCP provider. All you do is ask them for a connection to Link2One. If you prefer, you can benefit from hub services while keeping your signalling outside the hub. But please note, Link2One is not a substitute for your SS7 carrier.
Connectivity
Access to the SS7 International Network (voice) and GRX carrier (data) is required.
MTP Routing
No new ISPCs are needed as all messages are routed to Link2One’s ISPCs except for SMS MO delivery, which is routed to the hub’s DPC (destination point code).
SCCP Routing
IMSI is mapped to the hub MGT and SMSC to the hub’s GT (global title).
PRS/3G
It uses the same IP alias method, so there is no additional implementation in other GRX.
Testing
For IREG and TADIG purposes, the different services between operators connected to the Hub will be tested using the standard documents of the GSM Association (IR.24, IR.27, IR.35, IR.32, IR.60…), Q and A v 0.1.doc 4/9 2/29/08. Link2One ensures that all necessary testing will be carried out.
SIM Card Management
L2O handles SIM card management for 2 GPRS/3G and 1 prepaid CAMEL. The SIM and IMSI remain unique and unchanged.
IREG and TADIG
Both are tested within the hub.
Maintenance and Upgrade Testing
Both are done within the hub.
Connections
Complete testing is done for the first connection, with automated tests for the following connections.
Data Clearing
With our data clearing services, the exchange of data is done in a secure and timely manner. All data is validated and then converted to and from any known TAP format defined by you. Clients simply send raw CDRs and we’ll manage all of the tasks involved in the roaming process. We also support the creation of TAP files from raw CDRs and the sending of scheduling transmissions to roaming partners. L2O also gives you tailor-made file generation, IOT check and re-rating. You can be a member of Link2One and maintain your current data clearing house.
Financial Clearing
Link2One provides you with a single financial clearing and settlement pool with integrated payments. A powerful web interface allows you to monitor your financial settlement, invoices, debt process and positions in real-time. Our automated reconciliation ensures that you settle as quickly and accurately as possible. By simplifying your payment process, we reduce your administrative costs.
Link2One eliminates the need for time-consuming bilateral settlement. Instead, each member receives a monthly invoice for Link2One service and a separate invoice for roaming traffic. If required, roaming traffic can be specified on an operator-by-operator basis. With L2O controlling settlement on a daily basis, you are likely to get payments more promptly. If you choose to keep your current data clearing house but would like to benefit from Link2One’s financial clearing and settlement, you simply need to ask your DCH to forward the Link2One traffic-related TAP files to the hub.
Network Services
Now available are Voice, CAMEL, GPRS/3G/HSPDA, SMS IW and VAS. GPRS/3G/HSDPA can be managed through the Hub independently of voice services, but you will need an agreement with each VPMN to ensure functionality. CAMEL can only be delivered in conjunction with voice services.
Bilateral IOT Negotiation and Steering
You keep control as you can run your IOT and traffic steering as before. The IOT is transparent and is the standard offered by each roaming partner. There is no hub mark-up.
Roaming Agreement Electronic Exchange
We manage your own roaming agreements as well as those of your partners. We provide advanced reporting and integration. As well, we support RAEX AA.14 per GSMA specifications.
Business Intelligence
Link2One offers one reporting interface that integrates data from our clearing services. This gives you a powerful tool that you can use to generate standard or custom reports. It meets the whole range of requirements, from operational reporting to consolidated management. There are hundreds of objects to choose from, giving you complete analytical flexibility. Reports can be exported in different formats and easily customized for boardroom-quality presentations.
